Digital Design 1
Digital Design 1 students will be introduced to modern technologies in order to solve real-world problems. Using the Design Cycle, students will research, plan, create and evaluate independent projects with outcomes linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Part philosophy of technology altruism and hands-on creation, Digital Design 1 strives to balance how the next generation uses technology to make the world a better place for others.
Units
Unit 1: Raspberry Pi: Understanding How Hardware and Software Work Together in Computing to Solve Real-World Issues.
Unit 2: 3D Modeling: Using Computer Aided Design modeling for prototyping of projects as 3D prints and Virtual Reality objects and environments. Digital Design also includes mini units on HTML programming, Photoshop, and User Experience Design.
